This Privacy Policy explains how Gather Platforms Inc. ("Kerra," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when you use Kerra, including kerra.work, our browser extension, connected LMS features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Quick summary: Kerra is not a public course-material marketplace. By default, synced LMS content is used privately to provide the Service. We disclose LMS content or derived materials only when you direct us to share them, when service providers need them to operate the Service, when Recruiting Partners access data through the Kerra Genius Talent Discovery Program (from which you may opt out as described in Section 15), or when law requires it.

1. Scope, Role, and FERPA Notice

1.1 Who we are

Kerra is operated by Gather Platforms Inc., a Delaware corporation. For privacy and data protection laws that apply to us, Gather Platforms Inc. is generally the controller or responsible party for the personal information covered by this Policy.

1.2 What this Policy covers

This Policy applies to information we collect or process when you:

  • create an account or use the Service;
  • install or use our browser extension;
  • connect an LMS or authorize us to access LMS content through your browser session;
  • create, upload, sync, generate, message, export, or share content through Kerra;
  • receive communications from us;
  • click opt-out links, manage settings, or exercise privacy rights.

This Policy does not govern third-party sites, services, or platforms that you access through Kerra, including your LMS, payment processor, and third-party AI providers. Those parties have their own terms and privacy practices.
